John Nichols State Journal piece on the value of the Wisconsin’s Choice campaign in this election.

A phenomenal write-up of our process and house parties ran in Isthmus. A very fun piece that highlights new leadership from one of our younger activists.

Opoien at the Cap Times interviewed Sarah Lloyd for this piece on second round vote process. Following the second round vote, a second Cap times piece ran which uniquely highlights the fact that McCabe will not pledge to align with the Democratic Party but will pledge to unite with candidate who’s WC “People’s Champion.”

The Cap Times ran an editorial in response to the [highly] undemocratic WBA debate, and highlights Wisconsin’s Choice as an alternative, more participatory way to handle the large field.

The results of our second round WC vote were covered in the State Journal, The Chippewa Herald, and Madison’s WKOW (local ABC), WisPolitics’ daily newsletter included two short pieces on second round vote, one before the vote and one with the results. This is a great signal to Wisconsin politicos that we are making waves.

Marina was featured on WPR, both online and on air, announcing the results of our second round vote and talking about WC process. She also appeared on Wisconsin Public Television ahead of the release of second round results, talking WC as an alternative to the “typical” way of doing politics.

Due to second round results being released on 6/11, we received a handful of shoutouts in candidate coverage. An AP piece on Mahlon Mitchell rally highlights him being in the WC final four, and discusses our process. This was syndicated to a handful of outlets, including the Star Tribune (Minneapolis), Sacramento Bee. A clip from Marina’s WPR interview was included in their story about Josh Pade -- highlights how our participants did not want him included in the WC process. We were also mentioned in Kelda Roys’ press release as a sign of her growing momentum, and a Isthmus story on the state of Kelda’s campaign.
